A sculptural cigar ring crafted in hand-brushed 18k yellow gold, set with an original silver fanam. The broad gold form is interrupted by precise geometric cutouts, while the historic coin sits at its center — a small surviving object held within a contemporary form.
Each fanam is an original historic coin, individually sourced from auction houses around the world. Variations in strike, surface, patina and wear are inherent to these centuries-old objects, ensuring that no two rings will ever be exactly alike.
The coin is preserved in its original, unaltered form and held lightly within the gold setting. A small cutout on the reverse reveals the other side of the strike, allowing both faces of the historic object to remain visible.
This ring can be made to order in your size. The fanam pictured is representative; each ring will be set with an individually selected historic silver fanam of the same type. Subtle variations between coins are part of the character and history of each piece.
Sizing note: Due to the width of the cigar band, we recommend ordering half a size larger than your usual ring size.
We are dedicated to ethical and sustainable production and use only 18k recycled solid gold and ethically sourced natural diamonds.
All our pieces are crafted by hand in our atelier in Antwerp and Dubai. In an effort to use only the resources we require we do not keep large stock levels. Your jewelry will be created from scratch once your order is placed. Please allow 3-4 weeks for us to create your piece.
Our pieces are shipped to you using fully insured carbon neutral carriers. For international shipping we use DHL Express.
We accept returns on fine jewelry for up to 30 days. Customized products cannot be returned due to their personal nature.
