Nue is a fine jewelry house built on the idea of the modern relic — contemporary pieces with the substance of objects that have already lasted. The work carries the language of the past forward.

The brand sits between Belgian restraint and the ornamental vocabulary of medieval India and the Mediterranean. Pieces are executed in 18k recycled gold with a hand-brushed finish. Core collections are built to layer. The pieces are made to be worn daily, gathering memory through use. One-of-a-kind work incorporates collected elements — 18th-century South Indian Fanam coins, heirloom stones, materials whose own history extends through each new piece.

Nue's perspective comes from its founder, Priyanka Mehta. A fourth-generation jeweler with an Indo-Belgian upbringing, she studied art history, trained at the bench and spent over a decade in the Antwerp rough diamond trade. Every piece is made by a hand that revels in both research and creation.
